Imran Khan who is working to make a knowledge village in Pakistan says, In Namal University all poor and rich students would get the higher education but when you visit the website of Namal University you will be hit by a shock that the fee structure of Namal University is higher then the other private universities like CBM, IBA etc. Check the following snap shots of Namal Universities website showing the fee structure of the university.
Please check the following Fee Structure of Namal College how can a poor or middle class student of Pakistan can pay Rs. 1,15000 (One Lac, Fifteen thousand) per semister.

As far as I am aware, a vast majority of students are means tested as to determine the ability of students to pay their way whilst at Namal. Consequently a vast majority of students (partly because of situational geopolitical factors) are found to be eligible to pay only a percentage proportion of these fees.

I don’t think this is remotely any way scandalous, the costs of running a vast and quality education centre on par with prescribed International standards of education and research are extremely costly. Zakat alone cannot fund the institution alone, those who are able and willing to pay do pay. Scholarships, grants and awards are available to top up the fees to deserv-ed students based on merit and ability to pay.

In order to avoid irresponsible journalism, author names (of all articles as opposed to “posted by admin” should be published which encourages responsible, good investigative articles. The authors will consequently own their articles and are less likely to be footloose and fancy free.

You are comparing Bradford University with IBA or Pakistani Private Universities.
Imran Khan is not God. He has to take money from paid students and spend on poor students .

I am student of namal and the fees is still heigher. But the university has policy that if you cannot pay your fee than you will be served free as if you got admission.More than 30% students are studying free in university and rest of the student are on half schollership or on loan. So this is just the outlet of the fee structure,, So don’t make such comments if you don’t know the reality.. Come to university and take the student views and see the ground reality..

This college has affilition with the university of bradford so thats why It have to keep the fee heigher. As the college is paying per student 70 lakh per student to Bradford university,, But The feeses of students are still low … If student want than college provide them facility of low fee or just free.. More than 95 percent of the student of college are paying fee less than this the fee which they can beer. I am student and i am paying 15000 per year…. Really i challenge anybody can claim about the college fee.,. So see the ground reality not sit out side the college and make the comments which does’t have base…. Imran is gift to Pakistan.. dont blame him..
